How does a RAD child affect a family's day to day life? I am interested in documenting life with RAD children because my brother and his wife adopted 3 children and the two older children have been diagnosed with RAD. Our family had never heard of RAD before or what the implications of this disorder entailed. This attachment disorder is newly founded, researched, and documented within the last 10-15 years.
I want to gain as much knowledge as I can about RAD and how or if I can help my brother's family or others in this same situation. More and more children are abused and/or neglected and these are the children entering our society and our schools. People need to be aware of RAD. My brother wasn't and his dream of having a family has turned into a nightmare.
